You can now download the NHS app from your App store and get access to online service from your Smartphone or Tablet without having to come into the surgery.
Download the App and carefully follow the instructions. Make sure that you have your passport and/or driving licence to hand. You also need to take a short video of yourself saying the security code that the NHS provide for you during this process. Some patients have found that they may need to repeat the process once or twice, but when it is downloaded and enabled patients have much more flexibility to check symptoms before deciding whether to book appointments, order prescriptions, book and manage appointments, check test results and manage organ donation decisions.
This system is managed via the NHS, so the surgery cannot advise you on how to set it up, but the instructions are clear.
