How COVID Guidelines are Affecting your Surgery

Horizon Healthcare would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our patients for their continuing support during this difficult time. There have been so many changes over the past few months and we are aware of how confusing this must have been.

Our priority has been and will continue to be providing the very best of care for our patients. We ask that you continue to support us whilst we work towards implementing the changes required.

In order to remain operational, we are having to adhere to the strict social distancing rules set out by the government. At times this may mean fewer staff to answer your calls but we are working hard to deal with your queries. To help with this we are providing more options to enable you to contact us including our website, SMS and video call accessibility and our staff are working harder than ever to respond using these new formats.

It may not always be necessary for you to telephone the surgery, please check out our website to see what has been put in place to help you. If you do need to contact us by phone, please be patient and know that it may take longer to get through because we are dealing with complex issues and are taking the time to help as thoroughly and effectively as we can.

We will continue to restrict unnecessary access to the surgery to protect both staff and patients. Please only attend if you have a face to face appointment, do not bring family members with you if you can avoid it and only attend to collect items during the designated time (16:00 – 18:00). Please do not be offended if we have to refuse admission to anyone arriving unexpectedly. It is important to keep everyone safe.

Moving forward, there will undoubtedly be more changes, we will do our best to keep you updated and hope that you will continue to help us help you.
